I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University (B.S., M.S., and ED.S.), Knox Theological Seminary (M.A.), South Florida Theological Seminary (Ph.D.); and I earned a Doctor of Ministry from Oral Roberts University. I also studied "Refugees in Recent History: Focus on the Middle East" (June 2019), "African and Middle East Religions" (July 2018), and "Human Rights in Africa and the Middle East" (July 2017) at Yale University's Summer Institute. In August 2017, I was selected to participate in the Religious Literacy Project, a workshop being offered by the Center for the Study of World Religions at Harvard University's Divinity School.
I teach U.S. History, World History, and College Success Strategies in Broward County Public Schools. I also serve as a Part-Time Associate Professor of Leadership and Integrative Studies Online at Kennesaw State University. In addition, I also serve as an adjunct professor at Broward College and Southeastern University, where I teach English for Academic Purposes, Leadership, Ethics, and Religion (Ministry & Theology) classes.
A recipient of the Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers Award (2000, 2005, 2006); I am the author of Christianity and Culture: A Christian Perspective on Worldview Development (Xulon Press, 2009) and Leadership Potential 101: 5 Essential Steps to Implementing A Personal Growth Plan (Transformational Leadership and NJ Writes, 2015).
