A veteran educator of 20 years, Dr. Valmyr is involved in a number of related research initiatives while he serves as an author, speaker, counselor, and father whose personal mission in life is to challenge hearts. He is committed to adding value to the world through the transforming power of teaching and learning. 

Dr. Valmyr conducts seminars and consults on organizational, educational, and transformational leadership; spiritual formation; Christianity, religion and culture, and worldviews in higher education. He is the author of Christianity and Culture (Xulon Press, 2009) and Leadership Potential 101 (Transformational Leadership, 2015).

Dr. Valmyr speaks annually at conferences such as the Transnational Association of Colleges and Schools (TRACS), an accrediting body for Christian higher education. In January of 2012, he participated in a trialogue on Christianity at the 2012 Winter Lecture Series at Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton); the event was entitled “The Clash of the Gods: Six Religions Examined.” Since March 2012, he has speaking/presenting annually at the Annual Leadership Conference for the Broward Chapter of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE). He enjoys speaking to young adults and often serves as a keynote speaker at various youth events including youth rallies and athletic camps.
